My goodness, that Corsair F31 looks like fun! I guess I have learned how rare and valuable it is to have a trailerable trimaran.
I'm looking at the hull of my dad's 49' self designed pleasure trimaran,  still in process and I can REALLY see the allure of the smaller size.
Odd question, possibly rhetorical. How many people live aboard their trimarans vs. using it for races and cruising?

FYI, I got a nibble for my Corsair 31 from my previous post but that hasn't gone anywhere so I'll post on the FCT.io forum to see how that goes. I'm asking $65,000. That seems like an attractive price from what I've seen on line, but I'm open to offers.
Cheers, Eric

Hello,

My wife and I race and cruise our 1996 aft cockpit F31.

We have found that 3-5 days is our longest term on the boat. Living aboard a foldable trimaran is really out of the question for us, and most folks, as there is not enough room inside.

Rantin’ and Raven,

It really depends on the person and the climate.  My sport before this was sleeping on rocks for fun so my boat feels pretty lux. I’m on a monthlong trip right now with three tween girls in the San Juans and could easily imagine spending 3 months on it. No one in my family agrees with me, though. Living aboard in the PNW (in the winter) is a hardy undertaking for anyone but even more so in one of these.

Buy mine and find out!  We had a member, Matt, who lived aboard his F31AC year round at Shilshole for several years.  He was single.

When he married he bought a 42' Outremer catamaran.

Awww. Two hulls, wedded into one.  Sigh.

Andy, It took a sec to understand you joke, good one.  I'm getting a few good local responses on my Trimaran.  We'll see if any of them pan out.
