Those at our membership holiday party last week met Clay and Maggie C., the new owners of my boat.  Yesterday they came and picked it up on a remarkably pleasant and dry day.  It took most of the day to get the boat prepped and motored over the Magneson Park boat ramp.  This is where I and club members launched it 11 years ago, when Marilyn and I were the new owners.  Now the circle is completed with the boat pulled out at the same ramp and passing into the hands of Clay and Maggie's stewardship in Olympia.  Certainly bitter sweet for me but I am so gratified that they are local, and very excited to have the boat.  I'm sure we will see them and their 11 year old son out and about in the years to come.  Congratulations Will and Maggie!

PS:  I'm embarrassed about the Lake Washington brown waterline.  In my defense I paid CSR a couple boat loads of boat bucks to cut, wax and polish all 3 hulls less than a year ago.  Sheesh!  Clay will be putting on bottom paint as I never needed it with freshwater and boat lift moorage.

That is really good news. I am sure that the bitter sweetness is intense.

Awesome that it is staying in the area!  They seem like great folks and I am looking forward to seeing them on the water.  Maybe more Gig Harbor meet-ups to lure the Southies out!  OK... maybe it is a bit more than halfway to Seattle... but Gig Harbor has Tides Inn and Seven Seas Brewing!

Thank you for your help loading the boat onto the trailer Eric!! Looking forward to braving the mast raising and getting out in the south Puget Sound.

As Eric said we are looking to do the bottom paint when it warms up. It is a Corsair F31 Anyone have any recommendations of product for the bottom paint? The first year we plan to dry storage with potential of wet morage in 2027. Would one gallon be enough to complete 2 coats of paint?

Sorry for the double email y'all, but @William I deleted my previous reply to avoid having my phone number out on the internet for everyone to see and sent it as a private message. Hit me up if you're still looking for guidance/resources regarding bottom paint. Sorry for the late response!
