Hello Multihull Enthusiasts:

Our April 4 meeting is in person at Dan Hill’s shop in Seattle and on Zoom. We will not be doing a potluck.
We will commence the meeting at 7 PM.  Dress warm because the door to the shop may be open.
7026 Dibble Ave. NW, Seattle


Dan will cover in general terms the following:
  • Four stroke outboard maintenance
  • Building a spares kit
  • Basic tools to have onboard.

This will be a live action – hands on demo as he freshens up a four stroke Mercury outboard for the 2023 season.
  • Oil change
  • Gear lube change
  • Fuel filter change
  • Impeller and H20 pump rebuild
  • Idle and carb issues

and at Fisheries it is $59.92 with the NWMA discount - which is cheaper than anywhere else I can find by a few bucks!

That is the one, I also added the outboard hose barbs so I could bypass it if needed.

I noticed, and really liked, Dan's setup with the fuel hose connectors.  I put a separator on my boat, but I just cut the fuel hose and inserted the water separator in the middle with hose clamps. It worked fine, but I like your setup better.  Also, the separator I put in there doesn't have the little drain screw at the bottom, so if I want to drain the water out of it I have to remove the filter/cannister and pour it out.  Which is not that big a deal, but maybe I'll replace it with a setup like yours.
