3 mm by 50 mm should be easy enough to cuk with an electric jigsaw and bring to final dimension with files. printing and gluing a scale template to the work can help with this. 

I guess it depends on how confident you are in hand finishing, and to what tolerance you need this.

As in, a standard jigsaw? this might be an option, just might require patience and a steady hand

yes just a regular jigsaw with a metal cutting blade. 


it is along cut (I see now it should be 500mm dia) so you may need to stop periodically and let the blade cool down.

alternatively we have a band saw. but it currently has quite coarse wood blade on It. (do we have a finer metal blade?)

that would save some time with the outer cut but you'd still have to do the inner cut by hand.

I see, these could be the main option to doing so! 

The only issue I can see is that the item is also hollow, but I could probably drill a hole to get the saw started on the insides. 

I’ve attached an image of some examples of the item I’m wanting to re-create :)
