Induction for the drill press

Can I ask someone to give me an induction for the record power drill press?

Hi Mateusz,

As you are a returning member I wonder if it is worth asking Dan or Iain to run you through the latest space induction quickly to insure you are up to date. It has been changing a lot recently and this should be covered in that.

Also to clarify we don’t have an induction for the pillar drill, nor do we have for most equipment, but we do have a sanity check to insure equipment is only used by those who are safe to do so. If you are able to use the equipment then you can ask on the MS members list to be sighed off. If you need some training you might be able to bribe some fellow members with beer.

We do have an induction for the pillar drill.

What you are describing as a "sanity check" everyone else calls an induction.

"Training" is the naughty word we don't let people use.

Thanks for clarifying. I used a pillar drill in a different place, but it was a long time ago, so would  need a refresher on that (beer bribery sounds good to me :)). I'm happy to also do the returning member induction.

I'm not about on any of the usual opening nights for most of this week and next. I could do Saturday afternoon if you like, otherwise your best bet would be Iain on Tuesday who could do both your hackspace refresher induction and pillar drill induction.
