I am having a small clear out and will have a lot of old tech available for anyone who wants it. Some good and some less good. To get things going here is a small list of what I have so far…

* Many IDE drive caddies for tower systems

* Satellite receivers (both a Mini box and two HD boxes) 
* Many old PC PSUs
* A couple of Stereo systems with speakers

* Dehumidifier for spares or repair (needs replacement starter disc and ice sensor)

* Floppy and IDE CD drives

* A couple of VGA LCD monitors 

If any of this will be of use to you then let me know. Many more things will be added to the list soon.

I will also have some HiFi separate units available soon, but I need to decide what I am keeping. If you are interested in something specific then let me know now to help me with that decision.

I am looking for a pair of speakers, if no one claims any of the stereo systems, I would be happy to take a system and recycle the other components.

I am replying to everyone off list so not to fill up everyone's inbox.

Just a note that I have a number of options for most things so do let me know what you are wanting to use things for so I can suggest the best option. For example I have boxed speakers, unboxed speaker, active speakers, and all with differing frequency responses.

To avoid creating a new thread I might as well use this one.

I am also having a clear out.

I have various cables: cat 5e, various usb, co-axial, telephone (2x twisted pair I think), vga and various other obsolete cables - on the off chance someone needs a random cable I could have it

Routers, some adsl some not, one very old ntl one

powerline adaptors

Power supplies mainly for the above

I also have an old PC, not sure what use this is but maybe the case will be useful, also can prob spare a monitor

Broken laptops with working screens as far as I know

Not sure what to do with it all other than recycle as e-waste. Posting here in case anyone can find/ think of a better use.

Hi Shaun,

Obsolete cables you say? There is one old cable I am after you might have. I am after a short (around 1m) 75 ohm TV antenna cable that is plug to plug. Ideally black but any colour will work. All the ones I have are either long or plug to socket.

Also if you have some very short CAT5 patch cables (600mm or less) as I am trying to tidy things up and reduce the mess.

Yes (i assume they all 75ohm) and it's black. 

Also have a few short patch cables.

Not sure when I'll next be in the space, I'll let you know if I plan to go in.

But I live near the castle, if you want them sooner
