I am creating a web streaming platform in PHP and I am using PHP with the Laravel framework. As I am getting more into the project I have realised that node.js is the superior language for encoding my videos as they get uploaded. Fluent is a ffmpeg encoding plugin made for node.js to do realtime encoding as a video/audio gets uploaded. This is something I need to have. However I cannot seem to figure out how to run php and node.js at the same time, or connect them in any way, for once I didn't find what I needed on google. So being a PHP guy I was hoping someone here would have the knowledge on how I could get fluent ffmpeg working on my php install. I am running centos 6.5 if that helps anyone. Thanks!
