Handling packaging, installation, patches and updates of distributed Node.js-app

I'm developing a Node.js-application that is going to be installed on customer computers. I have struggled to find a straightforward way of packaging my application and handling pathes and updates. Someone with experience with these things that could point me inthe right direction?
