New to node.js and looking for some help!

Hey guys I'm in the need of some information and was wondering if some good soul could save me some research work.

I'm doing a HTML page and I need to find a way to create lists and transform them into a json or save them as a json so I can export them. 
I read (randomly on the net) node is good for this but I fear to be losing time, so, someone know if node is good for this or a good way to do it?

Hi Martin. I started learning node for similar purposes. I recommend doing the beginner nodeschool.io tutorials first to see if learning node is worth it to you.
