March Meeting Notes

We held our March meeting a little early on Monday, It was peacefully quiet at SF brewing.

• The suggestion for the next competition was beers made with kviek yeast for June or July.  Appropriate for the weather.
• We are yet to sort out timing for the April meeting.  The 3rd Wednesday falls on April 15th, as early as is possible.

We had a large collection of beers to taste, many strong beers as well.  Commercial beers in italics

• Ben: Dortmunder Pressure (German Helles Export - Bierstadt Lagerhaus + Humble Sea), American Pils, Westbound Italian Pils (Westbound & Down), Single Hop: McKenzie (American Pale), Westbound Select IPA (Westbound & Down), Drunkinator (Doppelbock), Cozy Vibes Porter (New Image), Tart of Darkness Clone (Sour stout w/ blackberries)
• Charles: Kuro Mai (American Lager - Crafty Bastard Brewery w/ Peaceful Side Brewery), Florida Orange IPA (3 Daughters Brewing), Trappist Quad (Spencer Trappist Brewery), Vlad the Imp Aler 2020 (mixed sour  - Cascade Brewing Company), Bochet Mead
• Michael: PNG ale (Papua New Guinea coffee), Dunkles Bock
• Ken: IPA 
• Corey: West Quest IPA (Societe w/ Topa Topa), On The Shoulders Of Giants (Mixed-Fermentation Sour - The Rare Barrel), WBA Bucket of Bolts 2023 (English barley wine - River North Brewing)
• Eric: Mystery Beer (maybe a Red Ale?), Barleywine, Russian Imperial Stout 
• Brandon: Double Barrel Blend (blend of club barleywine and barrel aged stout), Homemade Ginger beer w/ bourbon 
• Lorrey: Bourbon County Bananas Foster Stout

I already have another engagement for April 16.  Are there any members who honestly think they will be completing their taxes at 6:30PM or later on April 15th?  If not, I think we should keep our meeting there for consistency.
