September meeting notes

Our September meeting was hosted by Tom and Georgia.  Chicago style Italian beef sandwiches were on the menu.

• We had a new guest, Evan.  He had brought a very clean mead for us to try.
• Our next meeting will be at Ben's house, October 18th (Saturday) at 2:00.  This will also be the Oktoberfest competition and fall party.  
• Another spirits tasting was suggested.  I will send out another note to see if we can find a good candidate.

The tasted beers are listed below, commercial beers in italics

• Ben: Old Gold (Rice saison), Swami's IPA [Pizza Port Brewing], Oude Geuze Boon [Boon Brouwerij], Geuze Mariage Parfait [Boon Brouwerij], VAT 108 Monoblend Gueze [Boon Brouwerij], Vintage Ale 2025 [Kirkland Signature/Deschutes] 
• Charles: Fruited Saison (Spencer Brewery), Dunkelweiss, Mysterious dark beer (Belgian Dark Strong) 
• Aaron: Dino Bits IPA(weldwerks collab toppling Goliath)
• Evan: Plain mead 
• Tom: Blackberry Honey Mead 2022
• Brandon: Mango + Passion fruit mead, Plum mead, Hop Water (Idaho Gem hops)
• Michael: Goat fuzz golden sour(Holy Goat Brewing), Atrial Rubicite raspberry sour (Jester King)
• Eric: American Barleywine
