Problem to choose open... path

Dear all,

I have installed NMRFAM in my MacBookPro (macOS Catalina). The installation went good and I can launch the program. However, I find a problem when I try to select the path from where I want to open the spectra. There is not problem if I try to open the .ucsf file from the Sparky folder but if I browse to get a spectra somewhere else, a window displays showing an error (see attached image).

Have you reported this problem before? Could you give me some clue to solve it?

I wonder if the data are in iCloud folder. Is that it?

Thanks for your reply. The data are in any folder. For example on the Desktop or in a folder somewhere else. But they are not in iCloud.

Dear Woonghee,

Thank you so much. It was indeed what you said. I had to activate permission to Sparky but that was not enough. It was fixed when I also gave permission to java, launchd_startx and sh.
