Couldn't execute print command

Dear Woonghee,

I am getting a strange error message using  NMRFAM-Sparky1.470//Sparky 3.190 version. When I am trying to print a HSQC spectrum using "pt" command. It pops up thefollowing error message "Couldn't execute print command lpr\s78g" and the usual pop up screen to save the .postscript (.ps) file doesn't appear. There were other similar error messages but now it's showing repeatedly the above mentioned error message. I have done the fresh installation of   NMRFAM-Sparky1.470//Sparky 3.190 version. But, the error message persists. Recently, I have changed to Kofax Power PDF advanced as Default PDF viewer instead of  Adobe Acrobat Reader. Does it have to do anything with the error message. Please suggest a solution to the above issue.

Hi Arun,

 

The easiest solution is to go back and see if that persists. I think that is the problem as you think as well. Just try “pt” and also “ng” in Poky and see if that helps.
