So very early this morning I checked and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (stable) offered to update my kernel to 6.1. I was a bit surprised since the default has been in the 5.19 line. Well, something should have told me things were off when immediately after, it offered to install a bunch of 5.17, another 5.19, and 6.0 kernels. But I figured I'd try the 6.1 and rebooted. No, didn't work, had to revert.

Word of warning, especially for anyone who has set up non-computer people to automatically apply updates!

It probably has to do with having the Nvidia driver installed, but Ubuntu is wanting to install all these OEM kernels again.  At least the command line version says it is keeping them back, but the Software Updater wants to go ahead and install them.
