ActivePerl and ActivePython Being Retired

I think it has somewhat been in the works for a while, but ActiveState is officially retiring their Perl and Python interpreters. They've been making licensing increasingly pay-to-use the past few years. 

For my meager Perl on Windows needs, I switched to Strawberry Perl a few years ago. I had no problem switching.

Here's their announcement:
"ActiveState is retiring our popular ActivePython and ActivePerl "one size fits all" distributions after more than 20 years. Is what we're replacing them with, the ActiveState Platform, a better solution? Come have your say."
