I really don't use my domain for much other than Gsuite/GWorkspace.  I have had the 'free' option for years
but being a normal corporate customer, they want to monetize all they can, so starting in July timeframe
they will start charging $6/mo/user minimum.  Not bad for 1, but given I don't make money on it, and I am
cheap, I am looking for another solution.

Suggestions are welcome.

I want to keep coats.org and our email addresses.  The web site is nice but not required.

Any good local hosting providers or even ones folks have had experience with on the 'net'.

I appreciate the help in advance!

My go-to for things like this is to start with lowendbox.com. This is
not a provider; it is a blog that takes, as submissions, suggestions
for hosting companies in the low-end space. At one time, that meant
about $7/mo or less. I have two services currently and have had more
in the past, from providers listed on this site. One is a "storage
VPS", meaning one that provides a lot of disk space, and the other is
a hosting provider that provides a lot of RAM, which is useful for
running packaged software that may use a Java daemon or two.

They'll let you choose a base OS (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian are all
typical choices). From there, you set up what you want. It's ideal
for people like us, who may want a machine in the cloud to host
services and to tinker with, but don't want to spend a lot of money
doing it.

A caution, though: this is not going to be as simple as running
GSuite. Personally, on my domain, with a single user, I'm probably
going to keep Google Workspace, since it's only $6/mo for my single
user, at least until they start raising prices (and I suspect they
will).
