Hey guys.  Any of you use and/or recommend a cheap to free VOIP service?  I've loved google voice for reliability, but just wanting to see what other options I have for dedicated lines for wifi calling.

I have used https://www.clearlyip.com/products/sip-trunking/ before, but they aren't likely the lowest-cost out there. The founders of Clearly IP were the team who started Schmooze Com to sell and support FreePBX, so they know Asterisk and FreePBX probably as well as anyone.

I have used a number of services in the past.

Currently I use Babytel for its T.38 Fax VOIP service at 10.84 USD per month or 9.99 USD before taxes.

Virtual 911 service is available to the registered location.

Internet and Power is required.

You can find out more at https://us.babytel.net/en/

They typically have a wonderful service and can assist in transferring any numbers you currently have or you can get a new number.

They also have a scheme where for about 27.00 USD plus taxes you can get as deskphone complimentary.
Yealink T23G IP is the current phone that is available.

Cheers from Justin =]

I use VOIPO.com - $149 plus tax for 2 years of service ($15/mo monthly or $7.99/mo if you prepay).

Try ObiTalk. I run it at my house. I bought the Obi100 ($20) 10+ years ago. It's jammed full of features that I'll never use but nice to know they're there. I moved my landline to a burner cell phone then converted it to a Google number then to ObiTalk. Go to ObiTalk.com. It's not too hard and not expensive. I actually haven't paid for a home phone 10+ years and all of my phone jacks work. I disconnected the phone Dmarc and directly connected the ObiTalk.
