Has anyone heard of certain phones' Bluetooth not being compatible with certain cars? I have a Moto G Stylus phone, and a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage ES car. The phone works fine with my Bluetooth headphones. With the car, I was able to pair the phone, and I get a ringtone over the car's sound system when a call comes in, but the call audio itself does not route through the car audio. Mitsubishi says my phone Bluetooth is not compatible with the car Bluetooth.

Interesting. Bluetooth can transfer audio in gazillion different ways. There are audio profiles and codecs, it's a deep rabbit hole you can tumble down into. I remember I had to tinker with codecs when I got my wireless headphones working with my Devuan laptop.
As for a car I wonder if you can update the firmware on your head unit. I assume you are up to date with Android on your phone.

I finally got the audio to work by unpairing and repairing the phone. I am still trying to get Mitsubishi to tell me where to find documentation on the Bluetooth system. The 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage came with two different Bluetooth interfaces. My car has the cheaper version, with only a pairing button, an upward-pointing button, and a downward-pointing button. The more expensive version has a touch screen interface. Naturally, the owner's manual describes only the more expensive version.
