Path to gallery thumbnail

I try to build a gallery with thumbnails, it says use .. previewimage: in list of galleries (index.txt.or metadata ?)

but the url for this thumbnail has twice localhost:

<img src="http./127.0.0.1:8000/myweb/http./127.0.0.1:8000/myweb/galleries/cars/mercedes.jpg" alt="Mercedes" loading="lazy" style="max-width:180px; max-height:180px;">

in index.txt i have.. previewimage: mercedes.jpg

Are you sure your BASE_URL/SITE_URL are set correctly? This looks as
if you misspelled http:// as http./ in that variable.
