In this continuing summer weather, Valerie and I were visited by a first-ever for our property: Pipevine Swallowtail. Here are our photos:

What a great late-season treat!

Another fantastic find!  It's so rewarding to see something so cool late in the season.  Right now, we're not seeing much of anything on the coast except for dwindling numbers of Monarchs, American Ladies, Sulphurs, and Cabbage Whites.

Incredibly, this appears to be the 8th (!!!) record this fall for Pipevine Swallowtail in NH.  Prior to this year, there were only 7 total for the State (in iNaturalist)!

Is this also a Pipevine Swallowtail?  Seen at Goss Farm 10/6 in the gardens.  I didn't look at photos until now.
