installation of ngs.plot

Respected sir

i am trying to install ngs.plot on my PC( windows, 64 bit) . There are few many issue that i  am facing during installation .   Is it possible to get its binary file for installation. All of your suggestion will be helpful .

Hi Archana,

ngs.plot was mainly developed and used under unix-like systems, and some r packages like RSamtools I am not sure it is available in windows.

To use ngsplot , i moved to linux system for installation .

Current path of R is /usr/bin/R-3.0.2 and python is /usr/bin/python2.7.6 .

After that ,  I installed all the R packages (BSgenome,Rsamtools,ShortRead) required for running ngsplot.

Then i call command - 

ngs.plot.r -G ...

error is  - ngs.plot.r command not found 

help me to figure it out . I spend whole day to install it  :(

It seems you are not familiar with basic Linux usage...You need to make sure that the executables are under your PATH. You either copy ngs.plot.r to a path that can be found, such as ~/bin, or add the path to ngs.plot.r to your PATH environmental variable. And don't forget about setting the NGSPLOT environmental variable properly.
