Note, first, how "our free press" misrepresents dexamethasone as the first drug
"shown to improve COVID-19 survival," as if hydroxychloroquine, along with zinc,
has not been "shown" to do so, all over the US and the world.
And even though this news about corticosteroids is making headlines only now,
doctors testified as to their effectiveness in COVID-19 treatment some six weeks
ago—and, in so doing, complained that the CDC and FDA had warned doctors
against prescribing corticosteroids for off-label use. (Scroll down to read Paul
Lehto's commentary.)

Steroid drug hailed as 'breakthrough' for seriously ill COVID-19 patients
Cheap Drug Is First Shown to Improve COVID-19 Survival
From Paul Lehto:
The effectiveness of corticosteroids against COVID-19 was noted back on May 7, when doctors in the FLCC
(Front Line Covid
Critical Care group) testified about it in the Senate. And those doctors did not just report
remarkable success in treating 98 out of
100 critically ill COVID patients with corticosteroids, but—even more
important—they complained that the health agencies had warned against off-label use of corticosteroids, such
as prednisone, although doctors do that every day. They speculated that the regulatory
agencies—i.e., Big Pharma
—are more interested in therapies based on antiviral drugs and, of course, vaccines.
So now it has been proven that corticosteroids do save the lives of COVID-19 patients, while the FDA and CDC are
helping to kill off such patients by telling doctors not to prescribe them.
(Now let's see if they attack dexamethasone!)
Testimony to Senate about the above and saying that
prednisone plus vitamin C and heparin saved 98 out of 100
critically ill
patients is here [as is much else worth reading—MCM]:
