Michigan hospital workers say CBS faked COVID-19 patients for sensational "news" story

Yes, the video reported here, like his prior one including interviews with New York City funeral directors,

was made by James O'Keefe, the right-wing activist who helped kill ACORN; and—yes—this piece is in

PJ Media, a rightist outfit. 

So what? What matters here and now is not the politics of the reporter, or the outlet featuring his work,

but whether his reports are true. If anyone can show that the interviews in this video, or in that prior one,

were faked, or edited misleadingly, I'll readily send out the evidence. 

In fact, I'd like to hear from CBS about their story on that hospital in Michigan, and also from the New York 

Times, the New York Post and all the other outlets that have been disseminating all those grisly tales of bodies 

piled up outside New York City funeral parlors; I'd like very much if all of them would now address O'Keefe's

reports, and tell us how he's got it wrong, or else retract their gross disinformation, and try to make amends

for it. 

As I've said before, we're living at a moment when the biggest, most destructive lies are coming not from

rightist shock jocks, or the reflexively mendacious Donald Trump, but from the most respected bastions

of "the liberal media," whose "coverage" of this crisis is a crime against humanity—so those who've dared

to call them on it certainly deserve our gratitude; and if they happen to be on the right, so be it, as we must 

take the truth wherever we can find it, and whoever's telling it.

Michigan Hospital Workers Say CBS and Hospital Admin Faked COVID Patients for Sensational News Segment

Hospital workers at Cherry Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Mich., were caught on camera talking about their experience with a CBS News crew that made them fake a busy testing center in order to appear swamped with patients. Project Veritas received a tip from a whistleblower at the hospital who filmed what happened. Workers reported that they were called off the floors where they were working and told to get in their cars and make the line look like it was wrapping around the parking lot. Nurses in the testing center were forced to pretend they were testing patients, but they weren’t.
