States with mask mandates have 1.67 times more COVID-19 deaths per population than states NOT mandating masks

This finding raises the question as to whether that surplus of reported 

COVID-19 deaths might actually include deaths due to hypoxia, or some

other consequence of prolonged mask-wearing.
