A group that says it was created to protect fundamental rights has launched a legal challenge of the public security measures taken by the Legault government during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Four people, including a physician, as well as the Fondation pour la défense des droits et libertés du peuple (FDLP) filed a lawsuit Monday against the provincial government and Quebec’s public health authority.
