Here is an invaluable timeline of the media's role in propagating the
fantasy that Trump—Roy Cohn's disciple—"colluded" with "Russia,"
and has served as "Putin's puppet" ever since.

It's worth reading not only as a fine example of real journalism, by
the intrepid Sharyl Attkisson, but because that fantasy prepared the
ground for the Big Lie that's threatening us today (as Sam Husseini
notes in his great interview with filmmakers John Kirby and Libby
Handros—which you should watch ASASP). The Manichaean view
of Trump as Pure Evil, and—therefore—anyone opposing him (or
seeming to oppose him) as Pure Good has slid the liberal masses
into cheering on Big Pharma's most devoted and effective agents,
like Dr. Fauci, the vax-happy "whistle-blower" Rick Bright, and
America's most repressive governors.

What those furious "blue" masses don't (or won't) perceive,
primarily because the New York Times et al. are careful not to
point it out, is that Trump, no matter what he says, is, in what
he does (or what "his" administration does), completely on
their side. He may have said Nice Things about the dreaded
Putin, but Trump/Pence's Russia policy has actually been
more belligerent, and therefore more dangerous, than that of
any other post-war president. Likewise, despite the Punch-and-
Judy show—or pro wrestling match—of Trump vs. Fauci/Bright,
Trump's now planning to deploy the US military to inject
millions of Americans with an experimental vaccine, laced
with Bill Gates' nanoparticles, and God knows what else.

Of course, it's possible (hope springs eternal) that that pledge
to use "our troops" to shoot us up is just one more example
of Trump's talk, and nothing but. (After all, his own youngest
son is vaccine-injured.) But, so far, his appointments, and his
deeds, suggest that Donald Trump is really on the same page
as the New York Times.

When it comes to misinformation, disinformation and the now-disproven Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory, it would not have been possible without a strong dose of media support.

Here is a timeline that breaks out some important reports by — and leaks to — the news media.
