The Edge Platform team at Hotels.com (part of Expedia Group) are responsible for a critical, high-volume network application built upon Netty. The application delivers all traffic for hotels.com and its partner brands. We strive to writing asynchronous systems using simple self-describing code which is used by all other Expedia Brands.
We love open source and you will have the opportunity to actively develop capabilities for Styx (https://github.com/HotelsDotCom/styx), an Expedia Group open source project, led by the Edge Platform team. We also build upon our edge proxies rendering engines and assets dispatching needs. We’ve got the scope and the freedom to make a difference.
