Performance Statistics in Netty

Hi,

We use Netty 3.x in our application. We are facing some issue where the application is receiving the messages at slower rate (probably Network latency). As a a result, there are timeouts at the application level.

We have performance statistics captured at the application level. But, we want to check the performance statistics at lower level. Does Netty has any such statistics exposed out of the box which can be utilized? Please let me know.

This is little urgent as we are into some customer escalation. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

There is nothing out of the box. I would start with attaching a profiler to the app and use the usual unix tools to get more insight
