Hello,

I love netty. I wrote a client server video game with it. It was tcp ip.

Now I want to take my server and make it UDP.
What do I change to specify UDP. I can't seem to see anything indicating tcp or udp in code. And I can't see how UDP examples are different than TCP. Can someone point me to the line(s) of code that need changed?

Thank you,
Jim

That doesn't help one bit. I did a search for UDP and it isn't even on that page.

Where ever you see "Datagram", think UDP.

Looks good guys.

I got a connection and a packet. I should be able to do it from here. If I have more questions later, I may post in this thread.

Thank you.

And thus I get back to work on a game I've been working on since 2003. I'm giving it one more shot to hole punch this Tekken style MMO engine before moving on to an xwing vs tiefighter style game.
