I have made client server games with this tech, one really dumb question

I love Netty. I have servers up which never crash. I started with the discard server and went on.

Question: If I want to send an original raw packet outward bound to an ipaddress/port, what is the syntax?

All my server code is responding to connections. I want to just forcibly send out code to a an ip addy/port

I am looking for the code that does this:

Connect to an ip/port

Send a packet

It probably only is a few lines, but I do not know it. Anyone help?
