TCP channel disconnect() vs close() - netty 4.1.19.Final

Hi all,

If disconnect() is invoked on a server socket channel both isOpen() and isActive() returns false.

Is there any difference between open and active states for TCP connections ?

No there is not… this makes only a difference for UDP.
