The Hivac XN-2 can display the numbers 0 through 11, and is to my knowledge the only tube that can display two-digit numbers (excluding pandicons). I have 3 I'd be willing to trade away, please PM me if you are interested.

What were these tubes used for? Base 11 is not used much.

Sorry I see that they were base 12. Decimal hours? But clocks count hours from 1, not zero.

Quite possibly! I've seen some that do 0-8!

That 0 of the 10 looks quite odd. Is it made using 2 cathodes?

Text to these photographs got a little lost: Since Hivac was a British company, these display tubes could have been for use with the old British £sd currency, which was in use until 1972. Here there were 12 pennies to 1 shilling, and 20 shillings to 1 pound. See Comptometer photos
