I Was wondering if anyone has built a clock using this model of tube? if so, what kind of circuit would i have to use and is there a cross-reference sheet for this tube? i have 5 of these tubes and would love to make a clock out of them....i have experience with the IN-14 tubes but the pinout of these tubes are unlike anything ive dealt with and it looks as if im going to have to design my own circuit for this tube. Thanks in Advanced!

These tubes use a Cinch SK-207/RTS-44 - see http://www.tube-tester.com/sites/nixie/data/soc/SK-207/SK-207.htm

It should be easy to adapt anything that drives most other nixies to drive your tubes.  Just change the current limiting resistor according to the voltage and rewire for the tube pinout differences.

in14 power requirements may be very close to your new tubes.

Good luck!

Brendan,

I use a very similar tube, the 5870, in my Nixie watches. They are
regular old Nixie tubes, as far as circuitry is concerned. They will
happily run either multiplexed or direct drive.

I have a pile of the original sockets. You can choose to bend the leads
from their .090" spacing down to 2mm spacing to fit a 2mm dual-row
header strip, which is what I do in my square Nixie watch.
