Hi, I wonder if anybody knows of a 2 digit Nixie clock or kit? About 10 years ago I made a 2 digit clock housed in a standard UK light bulb for on of my brothers. I purchased programmed pics from "Fixitsan" of Smartclock fame.
I would realy like to recreate this clock, but can't seem to find anybody who does 2 digit designs. Thanks, David

I have a 2 digit design - though I don't see it fitting in to a light bulb!
If I want ed to make something really small then I'd look at the people making watches and use their electronics.
My 2 tube clock is better suited to Z566/IN-18 sized tubes. In fact I have used the same hardware to drive four smaller tubes such as IN-8.
See details of the Dobly 3.1 clock here: http://www.nixology.uk/dobly-3-1/
(so called as it can drive 4 tubes but the 4th one can only display two of the cathodes so it's a 12hr clock with 0+1 or a 24hr clock with 1+2 (no leading 0!)
WIth 2 tubes - its a 24hr clock that shows time, date, temperature and air pressure.

The first nixie clock I built was a two-tube design, though it's full of bodges and questionable design choices and would definitely not fit into a lightbulb. It uses two B-5855s, two DM160 VFDs, two K155ID1s, and a nodemcu for NTP. I suppose the electronics could be placed in the base of the bulb, with the tubes in the bulb itself.

I built a John Smout design 2 digit nixie clock a while ago, you can see more information about his design on his site at https://www.clock-it.net/charlieplexing-two-nixie-tubes/.
