I get the impression the guy has no idea what it is. Just googled nixie tubes and thought they were hot and all worth $$$.

On that thought, duct tape is always proposed as the solution to everything, but believe me, it is no substitute for toilet paper either!

Well... we had all our doors and widows taped for the Big Smoke which descended on Canberra for the New Year. I would not swap it for TP.
Anyway, you can't eat gold either. You can't even build a half-decent clock from it! Yet people kill for it. Humans are weird.

Look at his other items. I've never seen so many rare collectors' items so cheaply priced.

I have the issue of Popular Science with 007 on the cover. It's in better shape.
