I'm having trouble finding an instruction manual for this clock:

There is a limited diagram available - seems pretty straight-forward internally

There are only two buttons - I can't find the right sequence/duration to press or hold them to cycle through the display options/backlight settings/set the time.

I can find resellers of it online, but no one who has documentation, just the above image.

Anyone encountered this one before? It looks like it comes in different flavours with IN-12 and IN-18 as well.

I've already tried using the SEL button, with the + button to increment selection.

René - thanks for getting me into settings, I had assumed there'd be different duration for accessing different settings.

Coffee - thanks for documentation, it'll come in handy updating the time & saves me making notes.

I've set the time & date now - it's interesting it has a day of the week setting separate to the year/month/day so it doesn't do the calculation from that.

After setting the seconds I found an additional setting of 1-9 at the end for the RGB light - I have mine set off now.

No microcontroller power setting for the tube so the display brightness is the only brightness.

There's also this on the back - any idea if the firmware is available online? I'll try to read/verify it from the microcontroller but it'll probably be locked but overwritable

That's a project for another day, once I've got a spare to compare with - I'm checking if the microcontroller pins are PWM-able for the backlight.

Thanks again!

Completely missed and René and Coffee were the same person there sorry!

Hi All,
Of course I ordered one also. I wrote him back and here's the info:

here is the setting method:
1. This product has only two keys, one is SEL (selection key) and also the power key, and one is the "+" key.
2. Press and hold the “+” button until the 2 digits are flashing (for example, if it is flashing in 2019), release the + button, then it has entered the setting state, press the “+” button to adjust
Year, short press the SEL button to select the item to be adjusted in the following table order. Go to the last item and continue to press the SEL button to exit the setup state, or any
When you press and hold the power button to turn off the power, it will exit the setting state directly.
Pressing the SEL button while setting will display the following adjustment items in order:
No. Item Display value
1 year setting
2. February setting
3 Date setting
4 weeks setting
5 hours setting
6 minutes setting
7 seconds setting
8 LED backlight setting
Pressing the “SEL” button in the non-set state will switch the three display modes in turn, which are display time, display year, month, day, and second.
Press and hold the power (SEL) button to turn off the phone and press the button for a short time.
