Help identifying dead transistor in Nixie driver.

Hi,

I have a Nixie driver. Made by TEC-LITE a long time ago with one dead transistor, white ceramic with black top TO-106 (?) it says CDC-TEC-303 on the white ceramic, Googling and searching some transistor data-sites haven't come up with anything.

Does anyone here know where I can find a datasheet for this transistor?

I've included some photos of the transistor as well as an old ad.

I just posted a pic of an old Fairchild device.  I'll look though it and see

It may be easier to trace out the part of the circuit and measure voltages, and use this information to select a modern transistor that will work well.

That or remove a working transistor and measure it.

I had one like that. Bought by Radio Shake /Tandy in Netherlands ens sixties. It is a red LED that has a pin-point glowing dot. Fairchild indeed.
