Folks,
I keep wondering about this Nixie watch that Jeff Thomas was partway
through designing in 2010. He died without ever releasing it as a
product. The module is shown here:
Does anyone know if he ever made a case for it, or even posted a
design for one? I don't remember seeing any drawings. I suspect that
he was stumped (as I am) at how to get it on one's wrist fashionably,
but you never know. He was a clever fellow.

He meant drivers watch. This is a style that was available in the
seventies in LED watches. The display is visible without tilting your
wrist. But I assume you have to press a button, or shake your wrist,
or something, to activate the display.
Whether they are practical is another question.
