I, too, missed out on the B-8971 clock as I was out of the country.  Sign me up if you make another batch.  I already have the tubes !!!

Thanks all. If we have enough interest from at least 10 of you, I'll look into making another batch. Please understand, this go-round I have ZERO tubes. So they will have to be sold without and you will be on your own for the tubes.

I'd be interested in a B-7971 version Michael!  There just aren't any tubes around really... I wouldn't want to rob my greenie for this!  I've got B-7971's though.

I wish I could because I know you really wanted one too.  Actually if it hadn't been for Michael B. I wouldn't have any tubes.  It seems like this person in NY/NJ area was only one I've ever heard of ever having B-8971's and they sold them all years ago.  I'm surprised these recent planar tubes appeared all of sudden.  Either a find somewhere or maybe someone with a stash died?  I'm sure Pete isn't telling ;^} and I don't blame him.  His price wasn't that bad for good tested planars really considering the rarety.  I almost bought a set but he only had 5 left.
