I hope you find something as I would be interested in very much the similar idea. I can’t see to find anything other than 4 or 6 tubes. I would love an Arduino controlled idea with the same sort of idea and many modular like 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 tube strings (possibly just shift registers down the line).

I would have purchased several of those kits if they were open source to the point that I could have gotten the code to do that. I like making things other than clocks.
Would love to get some if you ever decide to open source it, but I completely understand why you wouldn’t want to. 😊
