Well, Tony (lasermad.com) has developed a levitating nixie tube clock (which I'm building right now!) so you could mix the two....;-)

Now funny you should say that...

I got asked by a company that sells Drones to make a flying Nixie clock.. it is now suspended in their offices, you set the clock with a little remote!

I still have one,  and added a set of LED's around the base that chase round.. very 1950's 'B' movie esque!
