Unwanted Mailings to neonixie-l Members - Spam

A couple years ago, a lot of our email addresses were harvested from the neonixie-l group and I get a couple emails per month from someone named Yuriy with information about selling tubes.  Most of the time they are not nixie related but my issue is that I can't seem to get off of his list.  Attempts to contact him at his email address:  murman_...@mail.ru, are bounced back.  What I really object to is that he sends these messages with all of us listed in plain sight, not even Bcc'd.  Depending on your place in the alphabet, you will see a portion of his list that contain a large number of our email addresses.

Is this person a member of our group or do any of you know a working email address to contact him?  I have blacklisted him at my work email but seem to have trouble getting him to stay flagged with gmail.

Thank you for your appeal. I always ask whether to add the address to the newsletter. If a person does not agree, I do not enter the address in the newsletter. I did not receive letters from you. Write me again and I will delete your address.

Yuriy, i think the fact that Jeff wrote this implies that he wants to be removed from the list and shouldn’t need to request it again.

I think the fact is that Yuriy should stop adding anyone to his list 'by default'.

Agreed.

I’ve purchased from Yuriy before and all transactions have been great. However, blanket emailing everyone is by default spam and should be frowned upon.
