I found 7 of these while cleaning a friends garage.  I can't make out the part number but they are Sperry neon planar  seven segment displays.  About 1/2" tall.

I use the larger Beckman in my 1980s Heathkit clock ...

Any ideas?

thanks martin

Should I make another clock?

Most definitely make another clock - I have used the larger SP-353's to make all sorts of clocks - all direct drive from HV5522 or HV5622 - other methods are available!

Hello all,

Does anyone know the significance of those Sperry displays having the part# etched as “EX-332” rather than the more familiar “SP-332” ?

I was wondering if the “EX” might mean “experimental” but I’ve not seen anything like that on Panaplex displays before. Any ideas?
