Hi !

Up to here I was mostly only reading the discussions here. Now my question - I was in contact last year with the owner of cogwheelcircuit.com.

We talked about a clock using B7971. He told me ,that he is about to produce a new charge of the pcb's for this clock.

In the new year I've tried several times to get in contact with him getting 2 of the new pcb's , but never got an answer again.

Is someone here knowing the owner of this website and knows about him ?

Anyone with other experiences ?

I have one kit.  Put it together but never did much (anything) with it.  My laptop (at the time) didn't have bluetooth to talk to it.  :)

Speaking of which, are there any other b7971 kits out there that people are aware of? I have the tubes and sockets, but haven't gotten around to building a clock with them from scratch.

Yep, the drive board has been 'coming soon' for a quite some time now...I'm sure Bob is busy with other things...I have two of the tube boards in anticipation of the driver boards, but they're not ready yet...;-(

And - by the way , the best kit for B7971 , I've built so far , is the kit from badnixie.com !

Also, there is a couple of bad links: Like: http://www.tmk.com/mod-6-nixie which is blocked by Chrome as malware site.  It redirects to: http://mihang.com which is 404

 Sorry about that - I sold tmk.com last year and it subsequently went through a number of owners, ending up in China. I don't understand why someone would pay what they did for it and then do something that gets it blocked by all major browsers...
