Nice. Love numitrons.
I think many thought they wouldn’t be able to handle the vibrations; however, they were used in a lot of aircraft equipment which endure typically more vibrations than a car.

My digital tach made in the mid '70s using RCA DR2000 incandescent displays.
It was installed in a rear view mirror and mounted on the dash of 1961 Corvair.
There was a magazine article (possibly Radio Electronics)
