Hi folks, have you seen these bad boys?

I have never seen these tubes before, and the weirdest thing is that the first one is called "IN-19B" which is in name conflict with the well-known IN-19B special symbol Nixie tube (same size as IN-14).

Cheers
Jens

I saw them earlier today and had exactly the same thought about the IN-19B tube! Even downloaded the images to take a closer look and see if it was a misread. Even odder, it's the same manufacturer makes both tubes with this designation (Gazotron).

Thrillingly expensive stuff!

Jon.

Was about to start a thread about them, you were faster.

The "IN-19B" is sold now..  * :( *

I also wondered why it is printed "IN-19B", which usually is a small symbol nixie in the size of IN14

Does anyone knows when the "normal" IN-19B" started production? The date code on the strange tube is 77, are there any IN-19B's before 77? Maybe this was a proto that was never in production, and later its name was taken?

About the "Pandicon" that looks awesome, i have send the seller a message if i can get a pic when it lights up :)

A long time ago I was told by a Russian person (don't remember his name and can't find any emails, sorry, Outlook has crashed a few times since then) that the tube named IN-19B was in fact an IN-26 Polyatron with a purple shine. But comparing the old picture I have to the pictures in the auction I can now see that they are identical, and from the auction photos of the internals it doesn't look anywhere near a Polyatron to me. So thanks to the seller I can now scrap that idea, unless the IN-26 in fact is almost identical to the IN-19B but is a proper Polyatron, the IN-26 was said to have the same scale with just six positions.

IMO if it was for elevator use, the numbers should be in the opposite order (unless 6-story cellars are common in Russia).
