those are going to be amazing... can't imagine what they are going to cost.... maybe a 1 tube clock instead of 6 tube ? + colon ?

didn't realize they no longer make the Zen Clock..... wonder how many he made....

Note the similarity of the construction to a traditional CRT.

Now I have to figure where I will find the space for a 6-tube clock when these monsters become available.

Over 650 Zen clocks. There are still a few available for sale, but they sell quickly.

I (and others) have made clocks based on the open source PRISM design from nixieclock.biz for a variety of tubes including Dalibors, Z568 and ZIN-70 as well as a slot of smaller tube types and even a remote version.
PV Electronics have a Remote System kit which will drive them. There are plenty of options available for these tube types including the remaining Zen clocks.

Is there anybody making VFDs in small quantities ?

I'm wondering if it's possible to make the anodes and pins on PCB material and just the grids and cathodes using the techniques from Nixies.
