In the light of the current discussions on CRTs, here's the latest piece of class-action lunacy that basically should give all our USA-based members a free USD 25...

"The settlement fund will be available to anyone in the US who purchased a CRT product between 1995 and 2007"

Nifty. I bought probably 3 or 4 CRT computer monitors in that time frame. All of them are long gone. None broke, but have long since been replaced with flat screen LCDs. Receipts ... tossed those out, too. The lawyers are only ones getting rich off of these class action suits.

All most all of my Computer monitors were purchased in that time frame,
with spares and one broken one that the dog chewed the cord on, must
have 6 of them. Including the one (Panasync E70)I am using to write this.

Still have trouble with reading the flat screens, My wife's latest
laptop is much better then the previous one, but the colour still
changes with Viewing angle, which causes each eye to see different colours.

Unfortunately none of my CRT monitors were bought in the You Nice
States, as I live in the great white north.
