(For non-UK readers - In a few weeks we are voting in a referendum for independence from the rest of the UK (England, Wales, N.Ireland). The Electoral Commission is a government independant body that will oversee the referendum process.)

I guess it'll be a little more orderly this time.

On that note, when Elizabeth I died, with no issue, the sitting king of Scotland, became the new king of England. So you would think that Scotland actually took over England, by inheritance. So wouldn't it be more appropriate, for the Scots to be voting to kick out the English, Welsh, and Northern Irish ?
