And now he/she's offering a 2 year warranty! Wonder how they intend to do that?

For that price, they can take an insurance policy out on them to honor the warranty.

Seems like a commercial surplus company, so they aim at people who need the parts to support old machines.
Its kinda the same with the NSN Surplus Sellers, i've contacted them for different tubes, and they told me that there are alot of people out there who run old machines (eg. airplanes or manufacturer machines). The NSN sellers have alot of rare tubes (eg 7094) but at a extremly high price.

Thats PLC Center / Radwell - they have been around for aeons, used to be mail order with huge catalogues listing buy / sell / repair prices for every bit of industrial automation / PLC / computer part (they buy surplus stores from companies). They were always very expensive as they relied on being just cheap enough for companies to buy from them to keep machines running rather than upgrading obsolete equipment. They have probably had those tubes in stock for 25 years as it is, or just got luck with an inventory buy out...
